This large industrial project included the structural and architectural design of three one-story industrial metal buildings, a two-story office building, and a four-story concrete structure housing an automobile shredder motor and control center on a 21-acre heavy industrial site. Total floor area for the buildings was over 70,000 square feet. Branch Engineering, Inc. performed the structural, as well as civil, and geotechnical engineering design, traffic engineering, and land surveying services for the facility. Project required coordination with public agencies, a number of specialty sub-consultants, the Union Pacific Railroad, and contractors. Branch Engineering, Inc. was the professional-of-record for this project and prepared the bidding documents, project contract, and technical specifications, and administered the construction contract.
